Privacy notice on the tracking of email communications

The following information supplements the website's privacy notice: www.line2lead.com/en/privacy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Line2LEAD S.r.l., with registered office at Via Santa Fumia 99, 00134 Rome, Italy, VAT no. 17557151002 (the "Controller"). For any request you can write to admin@line2lead.com.

2. Which tools we use in our emails

Our emails may contain two measurement tools:

  • Tracking pixel: an invisible 1x1 pixel image that loads when the email is opened with images enabled. It can record that the message was opened, the date and time and, in some cases, the IP address and type of device.
  • Tracked links: the links in the email pass through an intermediate address that records the click before taking you to the destination page. They can record which link was clicked, and the date and time.

Depending on the choices you make, these tools work in aggregate form, without linking the data to you, or in individual form.

3. Purposes for which we use the data

PurposeService communicationsCommercial communicationsConsent required
Measuring the overall open rate. We only consider the overall percentage of opens; we use the same pixel for all recipients of a campaign; we anonymise technical data (IP address, email client).YesYesNo
Measuring overall clicks. We count total clicks and clicks per link; we use the same links for all recipients of a campaign, without any personal identifier.YesYesNo
Improving commercial communications based on individual interactions. We record whether and when you open our emails and which links you click, to choose the sending time, adjust frequency and offer you more relevant content.—YesYes
Sending follow-up communications based on clicks. If you click on a piece of content, we may automatically send you related communications on that topic.—YesYes

Without your consent you will still receive our emails: they will not contain individual measurement tools.

4. How to give and withdraw consent

Consent to individual measurement is optional and never pre-ticked. It may be given together with consent to receive commercial communications, when you sign up.

You can change your mind at any time using the "Manage preferences" link at the bottom of every email. On the preferences page you can:

  • keep receiving emails without tracking, that is, without tracking pixels or tracked links referring to you;
  • choose separately whether to allow measurement of opens and of clicks;
  • stop receiving our commercial emails.

Withdrawal takes effect immediately, including for links in emails you have already received: from that moment your interactions are no longer recorded. Refusing tracking does not limit your receipt of our communications in any way. We record each choice with its date and method, so that we can demonstrate it.

If you were already receiving our communications before 29 October 2026, we will inform you with the first available mailing. In the absence of objection, individual measurement continues: you can withdraw it at any time as described above.

5. How long we keep the data

Individual data collected through pixels and tracked links is kept only as long as strictly necessary for the stated purposes, and in any case for no more than 6 months from collection. If you withdraw consent, individual data collected on that basis is deleted.

At the end of this period, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised, except where it must be retained for disputes, inspections or requests from authorities initiated before that date.

6. How we send emails

To send emails and measure them we use ConnyLine, the email marketing platform of Line2LEAD S.r.l. The data is processed directly by the Controller; any technical infrastructure providers act as data processors under Article 28 of the GDPR and do not use the data for their own purposes.

7. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to profiling for direct marketing purposes (Articles 15-22 of the GDPR). You can write to admin@line2lead.com. We respond within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests.

8. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or take legal action before the courts.
